Fake Review

Yesterday 01/09/2022, I received a call in the morning from a van driver who asked me for help as his van broke down while he was on a job and he needed my help to do his job instead of him. We agreed on the price, time, and location and he said he will send someone to help me. I finished my main job and I went to do the job for him as agreed. before starting the job, I asked the client whether he paid the cost of the job to the company and he said yes. I waited for his helper for 5 minutes as he was late and then I asked him do you want to pay me cash or bank transfer, and he said bank transfer. So I told him if this is the case you have to transfer the money before I do the job. He answered No. So I said if you are paid before starting the job I have to be paid before starting the job as well. I called the van driver and explained to him that I have to receive payment before starting the job. He said we are a big company and you will receive your payment once you finished your job. I refused and I give him 5 minutes to decide and after that, I left the place because he did not agree to pay in advance. He became abusive towards me and started threatening me, telling me that I know your place (as it is mentioned on my website) and I know your face, I will get you and you will pay more than I lost.

He sent me lots of threatening messages via WhatsApp

In the above screenshot, he mentioned that he will put me all over Instagram as a thief, but he deleted this message.

In the above screenshot, he wrote a fake and bad review on me.

In the above screenshot, he said ” watch the reviews u get”. Which is different from the other review.

Luckily I managed to take screenshots of some messages before he deleted his threat. In this screenshot, he drove to my place and sent me a picture of my road and he was waiting for me in front of my door.

After that, I went to the police station and reported him and I was told that he will get arrested if he came around you or your place. Upon the police’s advice, I got a solicitor to follow up with the case.
